About Ysabel
Ysabel Jurado is a tenants' rights attorney, affordable housing activist, mom, and lifelong Angeleno running on a platform of economic justice, tenant's rights, and worker's rights.
Born and raised in Highland Park, she attended Pasadena City College and UCLA, where she completed her bachelor's degree. She later graduated from UCLA School of Law with a Juris Doctorate, specializing in Critical Race Studies and the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy.
Ysabel is running for District 14 to address issues such as housing access, homelessness, small business support, and building a more equitable Los Angeles. Her dedication to justice and equity is inspired by her Filipino-American identity and her family's immigrant experience. Join us!
