HamCo Dems Charitable Fundraiser

Let’s come together, show our values in action, and continue building toward the 2026 Blue Wave—one backpack at a time.

Thanks to a very generous HamCo Dems member, we will be donating backpacks to kids at Indiana’s Child and Family Welfare Association. IARCA represents approximately 100 member agencies in Indiana, providing a broad array of services, including residential care, foster care, transitional/independent living, home-based services, shelter care, and crisis stabilization. Far too often, kids enter the system with nothing but their belongings in trash bags. A sturdy, new backpack might seem small—but it sends a powerful message: you matter.

How It Works

For every $50 donation to Hamco Dems, a backpack will be donated to IARCA. As a thank you for your donation, you will receive a card indicating the person in whose honor the gift was made. This makes a meaningful birthday or holiday gift—letting someone know that a backpack was donated to a child in need in their honor.

If you’d like to receive an “In Honor Of” card, please include the name of the person you’re honoring in the text box provided.

We already have 400 backpacks ready to go. With your help, we can get them into the hands of kids who need them.

The items on this page are being offered as a gift by Hamilton County Democratic Party (IN) in gratitude for a contribution at the designated level.
