Become a 2026 HDC Precinct Sponsor!

YOU have the unique opportunity to build community, empower voters, strengthen democracy, and lead with purpose by sponsoring one of your favorite precincts in Hampton through the Hampton Democratic Committee. With OUR inaugural precinct sponsorship program, we can elect our endorsed candidates up-and-down the ballot for years to come. Paid poll-greeting has shown success in the latest election when we recruited ten citizens to partially cover the most crucial precincts. TOGETHER, we can expand paid poll-greeting to all 30 precincts!


How it works: Through your generosity of $30 a month (only $1 a day!), your sponsorship will cover the costs of all-day staffing of poll greeters and literature to pass out on Election Day at your sponsored precinct. In return, you will be given a ticket to our annual Labor Day Brunch and a listed as a Precinct Sponsor in the program for the event.


Precinct selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please email info@hamptondemocrats.org with your precinct selection.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. Virginia: This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
Precinct selection is on a first-come, first serve basis.
