What is Hand to Hunger?
Hand to Hunger is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering students to fight food insecurity by helping them plan, fundraise, and execute meal packaging events at their high school.
Born out of Meridian High School in Falls Church City VA, Hand to Hunger began by simply packing 30 meals a week for our local food insecure population. Today, Hand to Hunger has grown to support over 43,000 volunteers across our 24 chapters.
Across these chapters, we are planning to pack over 220,000 meals in 2024. However, we can't do it alone. We ask you to please consider supporting us by becoming a donor and helping us get one step closer to eradicating food insecurity.
