Can you imagine being treated as a second-class citizen? The Alabama Republican supermajority has a bill SB21 in the current session for Alabama constitutional amendment to ban naturalized citizens from holding public office here. They are vandalizing the U.S. Constitution including the 14th amendment.
Hello, I am Hanu Karlapalem, a Naturalized U.S. Citizen, small tech business owner, married for 31 years, resident of Madison, Alabama for 26 years, UAH grad, Life Member and former Second Vice-President of NAACP Limestone County Alabama. I am running for Alabama State House District 4 in North Alabama. I am running, because every citizen deserves equal rights and my district needs a fresh start and new leadership.
