The Harambee House, Inc. / Citizens for Environmental Justice is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia. We work with communities/neighborhoods throughout the southeast and coastal areas that suffer with environmental injustice and issues related to climate change, goods movement, traffic related air pollution, energy burdens, food apartheid and under-representation in local public policy. These same communities are now dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and have very few resources. Many of our constituents and community members have been laid off.
We are asking for donations to help these communities -- especially the coastal communities -- gather the many items they need: gloves, N-95 respirators, disinfectants and wipes, water, food stables, thermometers, anti-bacterial soap, first aid kits, Tylenol, aspirin, Vitamin C, etc. Our focus is on our elders, our children and our differently-abled.
We are in a crisis that we can manage and overcome when we work together as one family.
Harambee -- Let's Pull Together!
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
