Representative G.A. Hardaway, Sr. dedicated his life to fighting for our community—standing up for working families, protecting voting rights, and making sure Memphis had a strong voice in Nashville. His passing leaves not just a vacancy, but a responsibility.


As his son, Representative T.J. Hardaway, I am stepping forward to continue that work—not to replace my father, but to honor his legacy by building on it.
