Spring Fling 2026

Join us for our 64th Annual Spring Fling!

We look forward to hosting you for a night of food and fellowship.

Enjoy Social Hour and a hearty meal, followed by words from our elected Democratic leaders and candidates for office. Spring Fling is also our annual Awards Night, as we recognize and celebrate those among us who have shown outstanding support for the Houghton County Democratic Party in the past year. The event concludes with our Silent Auction, the major fundraising portion of the evening.

We will be honoring the lifelong contributions of Mike Lahti who served our community as both a volunteer and an elected official. We encourage Spring Fling attendees to follow Mike’s example of service by filing to become a Precinct Delegate.

A liaison between the Democratic Party and the people it represents, the Precinct Delegate is the foundation for winning local elections. To file on the evening of Spring Fling, bring your photo ID and stop by the table where our County Clerk will have filing forms available, and can notarize your completed form.

NEW this year: Pay it Forward. Cover the cost to enable another like-minded community member to attend. Just put “extra” for the name of the attendee and we will handle the rest!

The list of Silent Auction items will be announced prior to the event so you can make a plan for bidding! We look forward to seeing you on May 2 at Spring Fling!
