Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
  5. I am not a federal contractor.
We may accept contributions totaling a maximum of $2,700 for the general election from individuals. Contributions to Maxine Waters are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act. That law prohibits federal contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. By submitting your contribution, you agree that the amount that you contribute up to $2,700 is designated for the 2018 general election. To comply with federal law, we must use best efforts to obtain, maintain, and submit the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Gillibrand for Senate does not accept contributions from corporate PACs or other "for profit" business entities, including but not limited to firm LLPs and LLCs and trade association PACs.
Oregon offers an income tax credit to residents who contribute to qualifying state, federal or local political campaigns. The total credit is limited to $100 on a joint return or $50 on a single or separate return. Please see OregonTaxCredit.com for details. Contributions or gifts to this campaign are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
