Help Heather Fight For Everyone
Since being elected as the only active teacher on the Des Moines school board 4 years ago, Heather has tirelessly fought to include diverse perspectives and fight for students and teachers, whether that means introducing bold new ideas as chair of the CLAT advocacy group or being unafraid to stand up to the district line, even as the only no vote. To make sure she can keep fighting so that every voice is heard, we need your help.
