Heather has been working hard in her first year and has passed bills and amendments. In her first year she has:
- Continued to fight for women's rights and decriminalization.
- Supported the largest development in our county with Scout Motors.
- Led the charge in the Comptroller's eventual resignation.
- Passed an annual SC Women in Hunting and Fishing Awareness Day.
- Made sure the South Carolina Black Farmer's Coalition has a seat at the table when discussing land preservation.
- and fixed numerous pot holes and I-77 bridges with the collaboration with SCDOT
