I’m passionate about my work at the Statehouse and hope to keep serving Nashua for the next two years. Last session I worked across the aisle to sponsor a student privacy bill that’s on the Governor’s desk and to significantly amend a bill he just signed that protects children and families involved in court proceedings. I also held the line against extremist bills seeking to ban books, hurt public schools, restrict abortion and IVF, and attack our LGBTQ friends and neighbors.
This year, I’m facing a primary challenge and general opponents with deep pockets thanks to special interest groups like Mom’s for Liberty, Americans for Prosperity, and Young Americans for Liberty. I’ve always run a lean campaign but this year I need to be more competitive with signs and literature to get the word out that NH families deserve Representatives who hold NH values and understand how the State Budget impacts our local property taxes and rents.
I’m asking for your help. All funds raised will go directly towards my re-election campaign and messaging on important issues like reproductive rights, lowering the costs of housing and child care, protecting our natural resources, and supporting our children’s constitutional right to quality public education that meets their needs.
With gratitude,
Heather Raymond
