Governor Andy Beshear won a larger-than-expected re-election victory in 2023 in part because of the popularity of many of the policies he championed. Under Governor Beshear’s leadership, Kentucky has seen historic economic development as well as record investments in clean water, broadband and building the infrastructure like the Brent Spence Companion Bridge Project and four-laning the Mountain Parkway.
In the face of natural disasters, a global pandemic and economic turmoil, Governor Beshear has led by bringing the people of Kentucky together to face our toughest challenges and tackle our most pressing problems.
Heckbent is a 501(c)(4) organization committed to advancing policies supported by Governor Beshear and his allies in Kentucky that help working families. Our goal is to turn as many of these policies into law as possible by focusing on getting things done and improving people’s lives. The work we’re doing now will set Kentucky up for success for decades to come.
