The movement for economic justice for hourly workers, women, and people of color is growing.
We have ambitious goals for taking this momentum even further in 2016:
- We will work to raise wages for 11.8 million people in 8 states through minimum wage ballot initiatives,
- We will pass Municipal ID laws to connect more than 200,000 immigrants to services in their communities and advocate for deportation relief to keep immigrant families together, and
- We will work in cities like Minneapolis, New York, St. Louis, Chicago, and Baltimore to promote meaningful policing reforms that repair relationships between communities of color and the police departments hired to protect them.
