Stonewall Young Democrats seeks to provide young LGBTQIA+ Democrats a platform for political participation and mobilization. 

With an emphasis on uplifting BIPOC leaders, we strive to foster community, fight for progressive values, and empower members to pursue careers in public service.

The event will also serve as a space to come together, uplift one another, and honor the leaders who continue to show up for our community in moments of crisis. We are proud to recognize this year’s incredible honorees: 

• The Los Angeles Blade, Impact Award
• Carla Ibarra, Los Angeles City LGBTQ+ Community Liaison, Trailblazer Award
• Mark Ramos, Chair, Los Angeles County Democratic Party, Ally in Equality Award
• Congressman Mark Takano (CA-41), Elected Official of the Year Award
• Sydney Rogers, Chair, Los Angeles County LGBTQ Commission, Changemaker Award

Proceeds from this event will help sustain our operations costs, expand our community outreach efforts, and support LGBTQIA+ leaders and allies running for office. 

*All Young Democrat tickets also include a one year membership to SYD (must be between 14-35 years old to qualify)
