Healthcare for All Ohioans Summer Fundraiser

The evening will feature:

- The world premiere of “Ignored News Media” skit with Medicare for All chorus sing-a-long.

7 pm Featured speakers
- Mike Skindell, former State Representative and Sponsor of the Ohio Healthcare Bill
- Tristan Rader, current State Representative and Sponsor of the Ohio Healthcare Bill

About Healthcare for All Ohioans/SPAN Ohio
We are a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals in Ohio seeking fundamental health care reform in our state and country. We envision every resident guaranteed full and comprehensive coverage. This includes the full range of medical services: hospitalization, prescriptions, vision care, dental care, mental health care, home care, long-term care, and care for all injuries and illnesses.
We advocate for a public fund that would pay all health care bills without co-payments or deductibles. Funding would come from current statewide healthcare expenditures, savings made by eliminating administrative waste of 1,500 private insurance companies and HMOs, and savings from greater utilization of preventive medicine. The plan we propose is known as a single-payer healthcare system.
Our mission is to educate the citizens and legislators of Ohio about the need and advocate for a fundamental change in our healthcare system so that everyone in Ohio has affordable access to healthcare through a publicly funded, privately delivered comprehensive system that fulfills the basic human right to healthcare.
