Hank is working hard in Congress to reform the Supreme Court and protect the independence of the federal judiciary. He has introduced:


  • The Judiciary Act, which will expand the number of Supreme Court justices to 13, coinciding with the number of Circuit Courts of Appeals already established.
  • The Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization (TERM) Act, which will create 18-year term limits for Supreme Court justices and allow each President to nominate justices during his or her tenure.
  • The Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency (SCERT) Act, to institute a code of ethics for justices and hold bad actors accountable.
