We totally understand the nostalgia for a functional House of Representatives led by the historic and ground-breaking Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She’s been Speaker before (twice!) and we know she knows how to count votes.
Hank will be voting for Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who has done a phenomenal job leading House Democrats this Congress, even as he has a tough act to follow after Nancy Pelosi stepped down.
But despite their total disarray and dysfunction, MAGA Republicans still have a majority of the seats in the House, and there’s no way they’ll allow Nancy Pelosi or Hakeem Jeffries to win. Democrats MUST take back the House in order to end the GOP-fueled chaos, elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, and get the people’s House back to doing the people’s work.
