Hobby Lobby: We're fighting back
In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that Hobby Lobby and other corporations may deny female employees insurance coverage for contraception.
That’s right: According to the all-male Supreme Court majority, Viagra gets covered. Vasectomies are covered. Even vacuum pumps for erectile dysfunction. But if you have endometriosis and need a birth control prescription, you’re out of luck.
But we're fighting back. Senator Patty Murray and 37 other senators introduced legislation to override the Supreme Court’s outrageous and chauvinistic Hobby Lobby decision, and we’re launching an all-out campaign to demand Congress fix this now.
