As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mano a Mano (Hand in Hand) was created in partnership with faith-based communities to develop a food basket distribution program to help local families in need. We have provided food baskets to over 65,129 working families, impacting the lives of an estimated 260,515 individuals.
As you may be aware, the government has officially declared the pandemic over. However, the repercussions of the pandemic continue to linger, and many families are still grappling with food insecurity. In the face of the pandemic aftermath and the ongoing economic recession, government support remains insufficient to fully address the needs of our community.
That is why we are launching a special fundraising campaign with the goal of providing a Holiday Dinner pantry for the brave families who risked their health during the pandemic to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Help us reach our goal of $25,000 to provide warm meals to our community members this holiday season. A $50 contribution will provide two people with a delicious holiday meal - every donation is impactful.
If you'd like to donate by check, make a check out to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network and include Mano a Mano in the memo. Please mail checks to 1030 South Arroyo Parkway, Suite 106, Pasadena, CA 91105
