I've known Daria since we worked together on the very first Soda Tax in 2014. At the time, Daria had role garden teacher as a garden teacher was cut and fought back as a union organizer. She brought her co-workers together and helped us pass a soda tax that directly funded BUSD garden programs. Daria has been fighting for our families ever since. Now as a family therapist, she is helping Berkeley families every single day.
As an organizer, campaign manager and public health professional, I am committed to supporting candidates and initiatives that protect our most vulnerable, support small businesses, preserve the character of our city and promote public health.
