The Homegrown Initiative
At the core of the College Democrats of North Carolina is empowering young people to become involved in the political process and electing Democrats across our state. Our duty of supporting a diverse slate of organizers, activists, and candidates didn’t stop in November 2020, which is why we’re excited to announce the Homegrown Initiative, CDNC’s newest program established to elect Democrats to local office across North Carolina in 2021 and beyond.
Local and municipal offices have some of the most impact on our day-to-day lives, but local campaigns often receive the least amount of resources and attention. We’re looking to change that by providing Democratic candidates the help they need in order to get elected and make change in their communities.
But we can't do this alone- every dollar you give goes towards electing strong Democratic voices. Thank you for your support.
Contribution rules
- I am not a lobbyist registered in North Carolina
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
