Since 2017, The Hometown Project has supported over 100 local candidates and GOTV campaigns in 18 states. Over 70 influential Hometown Energizers, including Mark Ruffalo in Wisconsin, Connie Britton and Selena Gomez in Texas, Billy Crudup in Florida, Sarah Jessica Parker in Ohio, and Wanda Sykes and Jason Mraz in Virginia used their social media platforms and appeared in geo-targeted video messages to help elect progressive candidates in their hometowns or promote statewide GOTV efforts in their home state.
Even in a challenging year, we were able to support more candidates and reach more voters than ever before. And thanks to your help and the help of our entire community, we will continue to support cause related campaigns, down-ballot candidates and voter participation initiatives in 2021 and beyond.
Thank you all for your support, and we look forward to continued partnership in 2021!
