Donations to the Rice County DFL are used in various ways from supporting our local candidates to bringing DFLers together at Precinct Caucuses, our local conventions, other events and activities.
Political Contribution Refund
Do you know that in Minnesota you can donate up to $75 per person or $150 per married couple to local party units and candidates (an aggregated amount) each calendar year and get a refund in those amounts?
It's simple. You make a donation, we will send you a receipt and form. Fill out the form and mail with your receipt to the Minnesota Department of Revenue. They will send you a refund check.
Contribution rules
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
