At a moment when cruel and reckless policies are pouring out of Washington, Vermont’s Democratic leadership matters more than ever. State and local Democrats are the first line of defense for Vermont families—standing between Washington dysfunction and the values we live by here at home. Strong Democratic majorities in Montpelier ensure Vermont is prepared, protected, and positioned to weather the challenges of the years ahead.

And we don’t just talk about progress—we deliver it. Vermont Democrats dramatically reduced hospital spending to rein in healthcare costs for every Vermonter. We invested billions in affordable housing, expanded access to affordable childcare for low- and moderate-income families, and gave voters the opportunity to enshrine the right to unionize in the state's constitution come November 2026. These aren’t symbolic wins—they’re real, structural improvements that make life more affordable and more secure, and they only happened because Democrats were in charge.

Still, we know the work isn’t finished. Too many families are struggling to make ends meet, healthcare costs must come down further, and the burden of funding our schools and infrastructure has fallen too heavily on working Vermonters.
