Black families need help with rent in this pandemic laden police state. While viewed as a commodity, housing is a human right that shouldn't be restricted from anyone. Be that as it may, up to 30% of the homeless people in America are families with children.
As of January 9, 2022, The Nevada Housing Coalition estimates the states lacks 85,000 homes for those with extremely low incomes. Nevada's housing shortage means there are 18 units for every 100 people searching for an affordable home. In Las Vegas, the number shrinks to 13 units for every 100 people searching for a rental.
With your help, Mass Liberation Nevada will be able to help Black families hold onto the housing that they have by assisting with emergency rent funds while facing state sanctioned violence.
