Fighting for Democracy
I am inviting you to join me for a special celebration on Friday, September 5, at Prairie Moon Winery. My Fighting for Democracy event will feature good music and good company from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
We are thrilled to have coming from eastern Iowa our special guest speaker, State Senator Mike Zimmer, who just recently joined our caucus after flipping a seat in a district Trump had won by 21 points in the 2024 election. He will remind us of the importance of supporting Democrats in even seemingly ruby red districts. As an educator and former School Board President, Mike has been a strong advocate for public education in eastern Iowa.
The event is a fundraiser for my campaign committee. Proceeds will be used to foster (D/d)emocratic values in the elections soon to come.
