Support Youth Organizing!
We know that Young Democrats are determined to make an impact on the 2022 Midterms. That’s why the Grassroots Democrats HQ is creating a paid phone bank training program for young activists looking to engage in organizing opportunities in our target districts and states, all of which have high youth electoral significance!
Building on the successes of our 2021 and 2022 paid youth organizing programs, the HQ is planning to run a similar remote program in the summer to train and hire 25 young organizers for an 8-week phone bank training program.
Offering a stipend to young and motivated Democrats builds the young voter to young organizer pipeline. Additionally, this program enables youth who cannot afford to volunteer their time to participate in the campaign process. Phone banking is a time-intensive activity.
What is your donation’s impact?
$75 = Pay 1 organizer for 1 week of the program
$300 = Pay 1 organizer for 1 month
$600 = 1 student organizer for the whole program
$1,200 = 2 student organizers for the whole program
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
