Trump spewed a BIG lie after the 2020 election that he lost because of rampant voter fraud. This led to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, and 253 voter suppression bills being launched by his Republican loyalists around the country.
The For the People Act, H.R. 1 could be the law that stops all of these bills in their tracks.
2020 taught us a clear lesson — when we all come together to fight for the right to vote, we can make our democracy work.
