Support two candidates this AANHPI Heritage Month!

HRC's AANHPI & Proud Leadership Council is committed to helping elect pro-equality candidates in November. This year, to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month, our group is supporting two openly LGBTQ+ AANHPI candidates.

Will you support these candidates with a contribution to their campaigns?

Your contribution will help fund critical voter outreach programs, combat misinformation, and boost these candidates to victory.

Eric Chung

Candidate for U.S. House, MI-10

Eric Chung is running to flip a U.S. House seat from red to blue in Michigan's 10th Congressional district. Eric is openly LGBTQ+ and a child of Vietnamese immigrants. He started his career as a teacher before going to law school and serving as a staffer at the Senate Judiciary Committee. President Biden appointed him to a senior position at the Commerce Department where he worked on policy that directly benefited his community in Michigan. This race is an opportunity to flip a U.S. House seat and win back a pro-equality majority.

Bentley Hudgins

Candidate for Georgia State House, HD-090

Bentley Hudgins is a longtime community organizer and LGBTQ+ advocate running to represent Georgia's 90th State House district. Throughout their career, including as HRC’s Georgia State Director, Hudgins organized to build people power – from registering thousands of voters to helping over 20,000 Georgians access COVID vaccines – while fighting for the rights of Georgia’s LGBTQ+ community. If elected, Bentley will be the first Japanese-American and first openly non-binary legislator in Georgia.
