Priorities for U.S. Senate
- Republicans are targeting Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), who has been a consistent supporter of choice, marriage equality and the Equality Act.
- Troy Jackson (D-ME) is challenging Sen. Susan Collins (R), who confirmed conservative Supreme Court justices that overturned Roe v. Wade.
- As New Hampshire's first out Member, Chris Pappas (D-NH) sponsored the Equality Act and helped protect marriage equality.
- Pro-equality Gov. Roy Cooper (D-NC) is ready to defeat Trump's hand-picked MAGA candidate and flip an open Senate seat.
- Longtime champion Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is challenging an appointed, anti-equality senator for the seat JD Vance vacated to be Trump's VP.
- James Talarico (D-TX) supports equality, while Ken Paxton spent years fighting same-sex marriage and targeting LGBTQ+ Texans through legal actions.
Openly LGBTQ+ U.S. House Candidates
- JoAnna Mendoza (D-AZ) is poised to unseat an anti-equality Member of Congress. Mendoza is openly LGBTQ+, Latina, and an accomplished veteran.
- State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-CA) is running for an open seat in San Francisco and will be the first out Representative from Northern California.
- Out candidate Marni von Wilpert (D-CA) will flip this seat held by anti-equality Rep. Darrell Issa (R) and she supports full equality for all Americans.
- Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) made history as the first openly transgender person to serve in Congress and is a strong advocate for equality for all.
- Openly LGBTQ+ veteran Cait Conley (D-NY) is well positioned to defeat a MAGA-backed Republican Congressman in the Hudson Valley.
