In a time when our community was under dire attack by opponents of equality, these leaders stood up and fought for us . They were instrumental in defeating over 20 anti-LGBTQ+ bills and we could not be more grateful. Also exciting - Rep. Imani Barnes was able to secure $6.3 MILLION in the state budget to pay for school lunches across Georgia.
We know that equality WINS elections. We must continue to work together for a pro-equality majority in Georgia’s legislature if we want to win BIG for our communities.
