Hello, this is Henry Roybal. I am proud to announce that I am once again running to represent your voice and champion the needs of District 1.

During my eight years serving as your County Commissioner, we worked together to deliver meaningful progress for our communities. Through collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to genuine leadership, we turned ideas into real projects that people can see, use, and benefit from every day. Our goal was always simple: leadership that produces meaningful results our residents can truly access.

Together, we completed important projects that strengthened our infrastructure and improved quality of life throughout District 1. These accomplishments include the Santa Fe Municipal Building, the Chupadero Water System, the Pojoaque Valley/Santa Fe County Recreational Complex, and establishing the Estrella del Norte Boys & Girls Club.

We also invested in key community improvements such as the La Puebla Fire Station renovations to support full-time staffing, the Nambe Community Center pickleball court, the remodel of the El Rancho Community Center, upgrades to the Benny J. Chavez Senior Center, and the full restoration of the Abedon Lopez Senior Center.

These projects reflect what can be achieved through genuine leadership, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to delivering results that directly serve our families, seniors, and youth.

However, our work is not finished. Important priorities remain ahead, including the development of a regional community center, a new fire station to serve the El Rancho community, expanded community services addressing behavioral health and opioid addiction, preservation of open spaces for recreation, and continued efforts to create affordable housing opportunities.

Equally important is ensuring that families have access to the community support and resources they need for stability, dignity, and opportunity helping build safe, healthy, and thriving neighborhoods across District 1.

I believe leadership should always be measured not by promises, but by the real results people can access in their daily lives. That is the kind of leadership I remain committed to providing.

Together, we can continue building a stronger District 1 and stronger communities. Let’s keep moving forward.
