2024 CHN Human Needs Hero Reception

The Coalition on Human Needs (CHN), a respected national nonprofit based in Washington, DC, will hold its annual Human Needs Hero Reception, our only fundraising event, to celebrate our work and recognize an exceptional individual, group, or organization who effectively advocates for human needs. This year, our honoree is Ellen Nissenbaum, Senior Advisor at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, whose essential work over four decades has contributed to major policy improvements that reduce poverty and inequality, by building coalitions and sharing respected and timely information with advocates and policymakers alike.
