Donate to Huskey for Council

When a billionaire asks for billions from you and me to build his own mini-city, we all should be skeptical. Instead, City Council rushed into a deal with Ted Leonsis and Glenn Youngkin that nobody asked for and that we don't need.

The Potomac Yard arena proposal may have died, but there is still a threat to our community:

We are even more divided by development issues. We have a broken economic development process that needs to ensure that public input, transparency and most importantly, our values are guiding principles.

And we have a fiscal situation that requires a new approach to raising revenue if we are going to solve for the long run.

I'm running for City Council to show that we can fund a bright future for Alexandria by fighting for what's right.

I didn't plan to get in this race, but I believe Alexandrians deserve a progressive who puts working families and small business first. I know how to fight for the revenue we need for schools, healthcare, parks and the other things we want.

We can do this together if we stand up for Alexandria.
