Since June 6th, ICE has terrorized Southern California with illegal raids at Home Depots, car washes, and street fairs. Places where many immigrant and migrant workers earn their livelihoods. In just 10 days, masked agents abducted over 40 workers and vendors from Hollywood Home Depot, leaving the community traumatized and afraid to leave their homes. Now, lost wages pile up as workers and vendors face an impossible choice: abduction or hunger. Thanks to your solidarity, Hollywood Mutual Aid already put $9,000 directly into the hands of 74 workers and vendors. But this crisis demands more.
