Ground Game LA

Hyperion Garden Project

Hi neighbors! Thanks for visiting the Hyperion Garden Project!

We are a group of locals learning how to grow our own vegetables and herbs with the intent to demystify gardening for ourselves and others. We hope to eventually grow enough free food to distribute to local community fridges and food pantries; and assist other neighborhoods across LA County in their efforts to convert vacant lots into lush community spaces and eradicate food deserts.

Your donation goes directly to buying supplies for the garden: from gardening tools to seeds and bulbs, everything we purchase goes into the garden and into the community. With your support, we can continue to grow fruits, vegetables, and other plants to distribute to those in need.

If you’d like to get involved beyond donating, we welcome visitors during our weekly Sunday meet-ups. The exact time changes depending on the season. If you’d like to get involved or have any questions or concerns, please contact gardening@groundgamela.org. Follow us on Instagram @hyperiongardenproject to follow our progress!
