We are not a footnote in someone else's narrative — we need to be the ones telling it. That's why IADC has adopted the motto "Nothing About Us, Without Us."

IADC endorses legislation and Iranian American Democrats and allies running for office that reflect our values since 2021. By contributing to IADC, you empower us to support more candidates and causes.

Donate to IADC and assist our efforts to educate and mobilize California’s large and vibrant Iranian American Democratic community. IADC is the only statewide organization of its kind that provides voter guides and civic education to our community, and we need your help to meet our three main goals:

Endorse and provide support to candidates running for various political offices across California

While IADC does not exclusively support Iranian American candidates, one of our main objectives is to build our community’s political power and representation. An IADC endorsement comes with a commitment to help candidates win their races – with canvassing, financial, and social media support.

Expand our core membership of Iranian American Democrats

California has the largest population of Iranians outside of Iran, yet we have not fully flexed our collective political strength. While IADC has hundreds of committed members, we need to reach thousands more. Building our membership will also help us hire necessary staff, such as a social media contractor to improve our online presence.

Make Our Voice County: Fund the Iranian American Voter Poll

For decades, the Iranian American community in California has voted, organized, and shown up — yet our priorities are guesswork to pollsters, campaigns, and media.

Prior to the next presidential election, we will again sponsor a dedicated poll of Iranian American voters in California — capturing what matters to us: foreign policy toward Iran, civil rights, the economy, and our community's future.
