4th Annual I.A.M.W.E. Building Healthier Communities Conference

In the words of Dr. Nadine Burke-Harris, “the single most important thing we need today is to look this problem in the face and say-this is real.” This is all of us.”

NCBWR is a peer-led coalition of partners on a mission to reduce adverse lived experience by centering the importance of creating cultures of well-being in North Carolina. We pride ourselves on the ability to create sustainable opportunities for others to have economic stability through their strength, strategies, and stories to reduce the risk, increase protection and advocate for ourselves.

Our work centers the use of technology in practice to reach the masses as we build healthy ecosystems online and offline for us, by us, to serve us as a peer-led coalition of partners. According to Healthy People 2030, there are five social determinants of health that must be considered for the well-being of a community: economic stability, quality education, quality healthcare, safe neighborhoods and built environment, social support, and equitable distribution of resources and our mental health depends on this well-being. Because our work is both online and offline we are able to engage beyond borders in an extraordinary way that removes the barrier of our reach.

We rely on our sponsors to help us defray the costs of this important work as we do the heavy lifting to engage citizens in building the NCBWR ecosystem to create cultures of well-being online and offline.

“Redefining Well-Being As The Highest Form of Equity”

Our 4th annual I.A.M.W.E. Building Healthy Communities Conference will bring together persons with lived experiences, resource agents, and public officials for community engagement conversations centering well-being.

Caring with Compassion Community is requesting our support to facilitate a community conversation to remove the barriers associated with inequitable distribution of resources in the BIPoC and other marginalized communities. We are honored to accept the challenge to serve on Friday, September 23, 2022, Pierce County, Washington. Based on the data of this marginalized community we have identified the despair and need to co-design what is possible for equity using our innovative approaches to manifest wealth and excellence community solutions tool for sustainable living. We never leave home without our community of support in North Carolina. A virtual opportunity will be created for you to attend--the beauty of building online and offline.

Our sponsor donation levels are as follows: Platinum, Gold, Bronze, and Patron. Your support will be used as seed funding for NCBWR operations and programming. Outlined below are mutually beneficial ways to support us at the moment, you can offer general support here. Your donation will be used as unrestricted funds unless otherwise noted to support sponsored programming.

We are looking forward to what we deem will be the beginning of an extraordinary business-to-business relationship towards building healthier communities and redefining well-being as the highest form of equity. Thank you in advance for your support in helping a North Carolina nonprofit organization create sustainability through its sustainable programming to reach the masses.

Warm regards,
