Commissioner Clark-Coleman is just beginning her 14th year on the
Commission. Prior to her election as County Commissioner in 2010, she spent twelve years as a Michigan State Legislator – four years in the House and eight years in the Senate.
Commissioner Clark-Coleman serves as chair of the Committee on Public Safety, Judiciary and Homeland Security and chair of the Community Corrections Advisory Board. In addition, she is a member of the Committee on Audit and Committee on Government Operations. She also is a
Board Member on the Wayne County Land Bank.
During these challenging economic times facing our country, state, and county she understands we must all step up and face the task at hand. She understands we must grow the economy and improve the county’s finances to provide a quality of life for all.
