The Biden administration is suing to enforce the federal law that protects Americans’ right to receive emergency medical care that protects their life and health, Maine Democrats passed L.D. 1619 which ensures Mainers don’t have to leave the state for emergency pregnancy care, and L.D. 227 which protects Maine providers from being sued by other states for providing medical care, including abortion, that is legal in Maine, and we’re working to elect pro-choice leaders to Congress who will work with President Biden to restore Roe.
