Support Our Youth Organizing Efforts

I Give a Damn (IGAD) is a campaign to mobilize Georgians to vote for people who will take real action against the climate crisis.

Youth are IGAD's core. We're anxious about the climate crisis unfolding around us, but many of us feel powerless. We're not powerless. This November, we can vote in leaders who'll pass real climate policy and legislation - and vote out those who've blocked it.

The Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) race matters most. The PSC regulates Georgia Power, our state's monopoly utility. Re-electing Peter Hubbard and electing Shelia Edwards will give us the majority to move Georgia toward a clean energy future — not one powered by dirty, planet-warming gas and coal to serve data centers.

Clean energy means lower utility bills and a more stable grid during hurricanes. It also will be a big boost to our economy, leading to thousands of new jobs for Georgians and less money leaving our state to buy gas and coal.

IGAD will spread this message on college campuses across Georgia, then mobilize students to reach their siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, and teachers.

Every donation fuels this mobilization. Cash-strapped student? $5 or $10 goes far. Working professional and able to give more? Please do.

Inaction isn't an option. Not if you care about your bills today, or the future we leave behind.

We give a damn. We hope you do too.
