Donate to Imara Crooms - Prince George's County Council (Councilmanic District #9)

Imara Crooms is running for Prince George’s County Council (d9) to fight for the people of South County, and ensure that government works for all of us. Chip in today to support Imara’s people-powered campaign.

Imara Crooms is a lifelong organizer and public servant who has spent more than a decade fighting for democracy, accountability, and good governance at home and abroad. He’s running for County Council in District 9 because South County deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and puts community before profit.

Imara is running to demand people-centered development, protect our environment, stand with working families and organized labor, and restore trust in county government. From infrastructure and public services to land use and development, Imara believes our county should work for residents, not developers or political insiders.

As a participant in Prince George’s County’s Fair Election Fund, Imara is not accepting corporate, PAC, or developer money. Donations from county residents are matched by public funds, multiplying the impact of every contribution:

  • $12.50 becomes $100
  • $25 becomes $200
  • $75 becomes $500
  • $150 becomes $650

The Democratic primary election is in June 2026. Every contribution helps build a truly grassroots campaign and proves that people-powered politics can win in Prince George’s County.
