Immigrant Safety Resistance Fund

The threat of ICE raids and mass deportation, and lack of services for the immigrant communities is real. Join our newest project to help build a support infrastructure for people forced to live in our society's shadows.

With your help, we will be able to

  • send allies to get certified by the U.S. Department of Justice to represent undocumented people in certain hearings about their status,
  • set up rapid response networks to record the interaction between immigration law enforcement and the detained person, which can be crucial in avoiding deportation,
  • provide mutual aid to the undocumented community,
  • organize allies to pursue local immigrant safety policies,
  • advocate against the racist, inhumane Laken Riley bill (and any other anti-immigrant bill yet to be pushed through Congress) that criminalizes immigrants and would put them at risk of unjust mandatory detention and deportation.

Services for undocumented community members in Appalachia are extremely limited but much needed. We are here to help.

Together, we can resist the cruel policies of the Trump administration and his allies. Now is the time to step up, resist, and organize!
