The death penalty creates victims far beyond the accused and the victim. Resources for such individuals and families are scarce. We help connect those in need with what is available.
Death Penalty Action's Impacted Communities Liaison provides a listening ear and the sort of advice that can only come from a person with lived experience. Charles Keith currently serves in this role. Charles' brother Durad's murder remains unsolved, and Charles has worked tirelessly to prevent the execution of his brother Kevin, and is still working to prove Kevin's innocence and free him.
