Saddle up with THE ARIZONA MAVERICK ("The Maverick Zine")!

A big howdy to those who are new to the herd, to the returning cowpokes, and our friends everywhere! You've come to a place where we're grazing new ground with a very special cause: The Arizona Maverick: A Pro-democracy Zine (and those who know us well call us "The Maverick Zine.").

Who are we? Well, to put in a quick tail swish: we're a magazine without the "MAGA"—and we're you!

The Arizona Maverick is a different kind of Indivisible group. We’re a big-tent pasture of voices in a zine with a serious hoofprint. We’re here to stomp out apathy and authoritarianism with information you can use to push back and build forward. Our mission isn’t just to publish words—it’s to use every kind of art and attitude to spark conversations, rally communities, and defend, rebuild, and reimagine democracy in Arizona and beyond.

Every member of the Maverick operation, from trail boss to flank riders to chuck wagon provisioner, is a volunteer. Every donation supports the direct costs of our activism—things like our Issue 1 limited-edition print-run, website creation and maintenance, meet-ups with our members and subscribers, video conferencing for virtual happenings and editorial meetings, access to research tools that cut through the cow patties and get to the truth, pump up voices that should be heard, spread laughter in the face of authoritarianism, and remind folks that the Maverick spirit doesn’t give up.

So saddle up with us. Toss a few bucks into the feedbag and help fuel this work—straight talk, solidarity, and indie spirit with a purpose. Whether you can manage the price of a cup of coffee or a whole bale of hay, your support keeps the herd strong and the movement loud.
