Stand with Kentucky Citizens for Democracy
Kentucky Citizens for Democracy is a grassroots community of Kentuckians who believe democracy works best when regular people show up. We stay informed, hold government accountable, look out for our neighbors, and take peaceful, practical action to protect our communities, civil liberties, and the freedom and dignity of every Kentuckian.
For more than a year and a half, KCfD volunteers have hosted a town hall on Oldham County’s 287(g) agreement, fought efforts to bring LifeWise into our schools, monitored local and state government, and organized our community around emerging issues.
We do this work alongside our jobs, families, and everyday responsibilities because we believe in democracy, decency, and each other.
With a busy fall and winter approaching, including the upcoming legislative session, expanded local involvement with ICE, and the midterm elections, we're gearing up for an important season of work.
