Necessary Trouble is a grassroots political action group based in Atlanta. We work to move Georgia away from its Confederate past and towards a New Georgia -- one which is multiracial and inclusive, and one which values racial equity, environmental justice, and fair and accessible elections.
We are an action-oriented group. We help members connect with work which matches their skills, interests and availability and which advances a progressive agenda in Georgia.
Necessary Trouble is 100% volunteer-driven. Your donation will support the direct costs of our activism in Georgia — such as printing of voter education materials, Mailchimp and Zoom accounts, Diversity/Equity/Inclusion trainings and more.
