Indivisible Tompkins was formed in January 2025 with the primary goal of minimizing damage from a second Trump presidency.

As a local chapter of Indivisible, Indivisible Tompkins supports and organizes local residents as they:
-Build community
-Protect the vulnerable
-Defend free and fair elections
-Elect leaders who will stand up for democracy
-Grow the movement to defeat the Trump agenda and Project 2025
Indivisible Tompkins is one of thousands of Indivisible groups across the country taking action to build grassroots power and fight for a truly inclusive democracy. We adhere to the principles of non-violent action.
Please join us! We have regular hybrid general membership meetings on the last Tuesday of the month, and multiple committees meeting all the time to take action and plan events. Our members include both first-time activists and seasoned activists -- all are welcome and there are opportunities for everyone. Learn more at www.indivisibletompkins.org.
Indivisible Tompkins is completely volunteer-driven. Your donation will support the direct costs of our activism— things like meeting room rental, website creation and maintenance, posters, art supplies, clipboards, transportation, and more. In addition to supporting our general operating expenses, you can also consult our website to see which particular causes we are supporting. In late 2025, we raised over $5000 for local food aid, and in the winter of 2026, we are raising funds to support immigrant rights organizations. These campaigns have their own ActBlue accounts.
