What we do:

TWE is a group of professional musicians from the Boston area and beyond. Our musicians perform an evening of beautiful chamber music concerts to raise money for other non-profit organizations. Concerts are free and open to the public. We ask only that attendees make a donation directly to the target organization chosen for that event. We ensure all donations reach their intended destinations.

A reception follows each concert, during which people can enjoy some great food and wine, and reclaim their sanity, connecting with other like-minded individuals.

Our focus:

  • Climate Change
  • Environmental Protection
  • Protection of Civil Rights
  • Sensible and Safe Gun Laws
  • Universal Healthcare Coverage
  • Racial justice
  • Philanthropy
  • Reproductive rights
  • LGBTQ rights
  • Immigrant rights

TWE performances have helped raise over $4000 for the ACLU in February 2017, and over $800 for the NRDC in May 2017! In March 2018, we played for a fundraiser that raised approximately $30000 for aid to Puerto Rico.

Your donation will help us defray costs associated with putting on our concerts. Any amount you can spare will help us put on more concerts to keep our momentum going.

A portion of all donations will go to Indivisible, one of the most important organizations currently helping people learn to fight the current administration's attacks on progressive values. We are proud to be associated with this critically important organization!

Indivisible Thoreau Way Ensemble is one of 6,000 grassroots Indivisible groups across the country taking action to resist the Trump Administration, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies.
